In Memoriam
Mr. Callner served on the Board of the Family Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association, and he was a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Callner and Ms. Portnoy co-authored the 1st Edition of the Georgia Domestic Relations Case Finder, the first reference casebook to categorize and summarize domestic relations case law in Georgia. Mr. Callner also inspired and led with his keen intellect and devotion to the community. He helped found the Georgia Shakespeare Festival, guiding and serving the organization in many roles, including Chair of its Board of Directors. Bruce Callner’s death from cancer at the age of 53 was a tragic loss to all who knew him. We remain inspired by our partner, friend, companion, and mentor and dedicate our firm to the honor of his memory.
